Exchanges and Returns

Exchange and return requests are accepted within 14 DAYS OF THE PURCHASE DATE.

 Items eligible for exchange and return must meet the following criteria.

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and free of odors (smoke, perfume, food)
  • Original tags must be attached
  • Returned in original packaging

Refunds and exchanges are issued once the merchandise is received and has undergone a quality control check. Any returns or exchanges that do not comply with the conditions stated above can be denied. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable. 

Exchanges

To initiate an exchange*

  • Send an email to help@formerlyyan.com with your order number and the name of the item(s) you would like to return. Be sure to include the color/size of the item you would like to receive in exchange.
  • We will send a complimentary prepaid return label via email along with drop off instructions.
  • Print out the return label and repackage the item(s) you would like to return for an exchange.
  • Once we receive your returned merchandise it will go through a quality control check process. If the merchandise is received in acceptable resell condition, we will approve your exchange request and ship out your replacement merchandise within 3 business days via UPS ground (1-5 business days). You will receive an email shipment confirmation and you will not be charged any additional shipping fees for the exchange.

*Exchange requests are dependent on inventory availability

Returns

We want you to be able to try on, touch, and style our clothes in person so for a limited time we are offering complimentary returns! 

To initiate a return

  • Send an email to help@formerlyyan.com with your order number and the name of the item(s) you would like to return and the reason for your return (this will help us improve our product and service offerings)
  • We will send you a prepaid return label via email along with drop off instructions.
  • Print out the return label and repackage the item(s) you would like to return.
  • Once we receive your returned merchandise it will go through a quality control check process. This process can take up to 3 business days. If the merchandise received is in acceptable resell condition, we will approve your return request and you will receive an email confirmation.
  • Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution.
